Every year, New Light Leadership Coalition will recognize one young person and one youth group for excellence in leadership through the Youth Leader of the Year and Youth Group of the Year awards. These awards will honor youth for applying the principles of leadership in their own lives and organizations. | | Youth Leader of the Year Award | Youth Group of the Year Award | Application Procedures | Complete the application and submit a one-page essay (double-spaced, 12 point font) on one of the following topics:

How have you demonstrated your leadership potential during the past year?

| Eligibility | Youth ages 16 to 25 are eligible for this award | Community youth groups and high school & college student organizations are eligible. *Young people (under 25) must hold leadership positions and/or be involved in the management of the organization. | Nominations | Nominate a young person in your community between the 16 to 25 for this award.
